What is a British Brass Band?
A British brass band is a unique musical ensemble featuring a specific lineup of 28 to 30 musicians playing only brass and percussion instruments. The group is defined by its use of cornets instead of trumpets, tenor horns instead of French horns, and conical-bore instruments like, baritones, and euphoniums, which create a uniquely warm, rich, and blended sound.
